Grace is the undeserved, unmerited, unearned, unpurchasable favor of God. God is inclined toward us. Grace is the effect of love. Grace is how God moves, beautifully, with agility, encompassing power and gentleness. Peace is the consequence of Grace. Peace is Shalom: a penetrating sense of well-being predicated on the fact that God is real, able, good and generous. Peace is not contingent on fleeting material or physical well-being. That’s why the bible talks about “peace that surpasses all understanding.” All of this is gift! I know why the caged bird sings…Grace and Peace.

La gracia es el favor de Dios inmerecido, inganable, incomparable. Dios está inclinado hacia nosotros. La gracia es el efecto del amor. La gracia es como Dios se mueve, hermosamente, con agilidad, abarcando el poder y la gentileza. La paz es la consecuencia de la gracia. La paz es Shalom: un sentido penetrante de bondad predicado en el hecho de que Dios es real, capaz, bueno y generoso. La paz no es contingente en material pasajero o bienestar físico. Es por eso que la biblia habla sobre “paz que sobrepasa todo entendimiento.” ¡Todo esto es un regalo! Yo se por que el pájaro enjaulado canta…Gracia y Paz.
