Join us at our 112th Annual Fall Gathering at the Cathedral featuring speaker Melva Noakes, author of April Morning. A warm invitation is extended to ALL ladies of the Diocese of Atlanta (Episcopal Church Women, Daughters of the King, Altar Guild and friends from other denominations).
On April 19th, 1995 Melva Noakes was working as the CEO and Executive Director of the America’s Kids Day Care Center located in the Alfred P. Murrah Federal Building in Oklahoma City. When the bomb went off, her life, along with the lives of countless others was changed forever. After surviving the bomb blast that day, which killed at least 168 people and was at the time the deadliest act of terror on American soil, Noakes found an inner strength by leaning into her faith. She went on to become a beacon and a voice for the grieving parents and survivors. Read about Melva Noakes here, and please attend if you can!
Registration Deadline: October 10
