The Coastal Green Team Summit, now in its second year, is an opportunity for coastal communities of faith to gather and discuss environmental stewardship and energy efficiency. Dr. Matthew Sleeth, author of Reforesting Faith, will offer the keynote address at the beginning of the event followed by a meet-and-greet with attendees. Attendees of the Coastal Green Team Summit will also have the chance to attend several educational workshops from organizations like the Caretta Research Project, which is focused on protecting loggerhead sea turtle nests on Wassaw National Wildlife Refuge, and enjoy a sustainably-sourced, low-waste lunch from Le Café Gourmet in Savannah. One Hundred Miles, whose mission is to protect and preserve Georgia’s 100-mile coast through advocacy, education, and citizen education, is co-hosting this event.
Tickets: $25 general admission, $75 for groups of four.
