Please join us on Thursday, May 30, at 7pm, for the Feast of the Ascension, which is the fortieth day after Easter Sunday, commemorating the Ascension of Christ into heaven, according to Mark 16:19, Luke 24:51, and Acts 1:2. Ascension Day celebrates Christ’s exaltation. While on earth, He was a servant. Now in heaven, He is the ruler and Lord of all. By entering heaven as the representative of humanity, He completed the work of our salvation and guarantees the eventual glorification of all who love Him. Just as Jesus went up in the clouds, He will return the same way. Mark your calendar and remember to join us for this very important occasion in the life of the church. All are welcome!
