Ecclesia Ministries Conference | Come & See: Race, Poverty, & Homelessness

  • All Saints' 634 West Peachtree Street Northwest Atlanta, GA, 30308 (map)

Ecclesia Ministries Network and Atlanta’s Church of the Common Ground host a weekend of conversation, sharing, feasting, and seeing (sites, need, and church) with a special emphasis on racial reconciliation in our churches and in our work.  The weekend is meant to help us collaboratively think critically and constructively about our leadership of street churches, that we might be encouraged to seek justice and love mercy, walking humbly, outside, with God.

All meetings and most meals are in “The Attic” of All Saints’ Episcopal Church, ADA accessible, and across the street from the North Avenue MARTA station, which is the train you can take directly from within the airport.  Parking also available, though public transit is preferable.

Staying in the Attic (meeting rooms-turned dorms; floor or couch sleeping; bring your own sleeping bag; bathrooms, with individual showers, full kitchen where group meals will take place):  $15per person per night.

Crown Plaza Midtown: Group rate reserved across the street from All Saints’ at $169/night if you book by 4/17/19.  Mention you are with Church of the Common Ground. Book your room online or contact the central reservations department at (877) 684-9381.

Airbnb and other hotels:  Midtown is full of options, and full of scooters and Lyft/Uber drivers and MARTA to get you to-and-fro.  30308 encompasses Midtown, Atlanta. We advise not staying too far out as Atlanta traffic is a force to be reckoned with.

Most meals are shared:  Please indicate your dietary needs upon registration.  You will self-pay for dinner out Saturday night as a group and for lunch/dessert Sunday.

Liz Magill; and Monica Mainwaring

Early-bird Registration (before April 1):  $125; Registration (after April 1): $150
