Join St. Anne’s Episcopal Church on two Sundays, May 12 and May 19, 9:15 am for a lively presentation on the ancient origins of the concept of resurrection as well as comparative views of heaven and eternal life, in Christianity, Buddhism, Hinduism, and Islam. What can we learn from traditions that are different from our own that may enlighten our views on the meaning of salvation? The class will be lead by Jeffrey Small, an award-winning author, speaker, entrepreneur, and theologian. His debut novel, The Breath of God, won the Nautilus Book Award Gold Medal for Best Fiction. His second novel, The Jericho Deception, won the IPPY Book Awards Gold Medal for Best Suspense/Thriller. A graduate of Yale University and Harvard Law, Jeffrey has taught classes on world religions at Emory University's Candler School of Theology.  This event is free.
