Having Courage in the Dark: Looking to the Sacred Space of Holy Saturday to Empower Leaders as They Companion in the Midst of Lost Hope

An invitation to small teams of vestry, ministry heads, and clergy from the churches of the Episcopal
Diocese of Atlanta. Space is limited to 15 participants. Early registration is encouraged.

Sessions:

  • The Transformational Space of Holy Saturday---- What is it? Why it is so important in our ministry together?

  • Crossing the Threshold---- How to understand ‘Time in the Tomb’ as spiritual growth.

  • Spiritual and Emotional Courage---- How can we trust ourselves to the Dark?

  • In the Ditches---- The essential holy work of companioning all God’s people in all places.

  • Tools and Practices ---- How to nurture presence and discernment of Spirit in the midst of great darkness and loss of hope.
