Enjoy a preview and panel discussion surrounding The Atlanta Opera’s upcoming production February 2-10 of Jake Heggie’s groundbreaking Dead Man Walking. The conversation will feature Sister Helen Prejean, author of the novel on which the opera is based. 

Moderated by Dr. Edward Queen of the Emory University Center for Ethics, panelists include Sara Totonchi, Executive Director of the Southern Center for Human Rights and Micah Fortson, Managing Director of The Atlanta Opera.

The evening also includes a short performance from the opera as well as a book signing with Sister Helen.
