LEADERSHIP STUDY DAY WITH REV. DR. RANDOLPH FEREBEE
TOPIC: Navigating the Missional Shift
These are exciting times in God’s church, especially in the part of God’s world we call home. We have all been affected by change. Together we have sought to respond to the change by prayerfully listening to God and adapting our lives and churches to live in this new reality.
The good news for us is that all over North America, Christians are experiencing this shift from an older form of constructing our faith communities toward a more agile and sturdy experience of being the church. Every leader is commissioned to help us interpret and engage the future God has for us. No matter the size, no matter the age, no matter the resources, every church has an opportunity to engage a new vocabulary and way of forming ourselves to honor our baptismal vows — individually and collectively.
This workshop is designed to equip us with the language and tools to navigate this new reality. All persons in church leadership (clergy and lay) are invited to this workshop.
