Chattahoochee Valley Episcopal Ministry invites you to join us for the annual pilgrimage to
Hayneville, Alabama in remembrance of Episcopal Church martyr Jonathan Myrick Daniels,

The pilgrimage will begin at 11am CDT in front of the courthouse in Hayneville. We will march
from there to the jail where Daniels was held, to the place where he was killed, then back to the courthouse to celebrate the Eucharist. Fourteen other martyrs of the Alabama civil rights
movement are recognized and honored in this service as well as Daniels. The keynote speak this year is the Rev. Ed Bacon. Lunch will follow. For more details, see the Diocese of Alabama website: http://dioala.org/digital_faith/events/3177860.

We will depart from CVEM at 9:30 am EDT, arriving in Hayneville for the pilgrimage by 11 am
