THE PHOENIX FLIES: A CELEBRATION OF ATLANTA’S HISTORIC SITES at St. Anne’s Sunday, March 18, 12:00—1:00 PM and Saturday, March 24, 10:00 AM — 12:00 PM.

Returning for its 14th year, The Phoenix Flies “provides an opportunity to learn about, celebrate and strengthen...Atlanta’s historic built environment,” according to the Atlanta Preservation Center. For the second year, St. Anne’s will be included in the celebration, for our stunning stained-glass windows and amazing Flentrop organ. On Sunday, March 18, there will be an informational tour of St. Anne’s windows and Flentrop organ. Come enjoy the program with your family (it follows our 10:30 service). There will be stained glass coloring pages for the kiddos! Come Saturday, March 24 for an extended  tour of our windows, the fabulous and currently very popular mid-century architecture, and a fascinating informational session and demonstration of the Flentrop organ by Dr. Joyce Schemanske, plus a demonstration of the organ’s functionality using a plexiglass mockup.

This event is free of charge. If you have any questions, please contact pcobb@saintannes.com or 404.237.5589.
