Discipleship Matters Conference

Helping leaders create a culture of discipleship in their congregations and communities.

This national conference series explores Christian formation for discipleship,
scripture engagement, habits of daily prayer, serving the poor, and sharing
the Good News. The conference will offer keynote presentations, workshops,
and networking time, and will be undergirded with Eucharist and the Daily
Office.


Keynote address: Robert Wright, Bishop of Atlanta
Plenary speakers: Courtney Cowart, Executive Director of Society for the Increase of Ministry & Albert Cutié, Rector of St. Benedict’s Episcopal Church in Plantation, FL
Discipleship conversations with: Anne Hodges-Copple, Suffragan Bishop of North Carolina, and Sam Rodman, Bishop of North Carolina. Moderated by Chip Edens.
Workshops with: Kimberlee Auletta, Jenny Beaumont, Cookie Cantwell, Joshua Case, Doyt Conn, DawnDavis, Alice DeVries, Miguel Escobar, Scott Gunn, Sarah Koopercamp, Miriam McKenney, Bonnie Perry, Makeda Pennycook, Tamara Plummer, Jay Sidebotham, Mary Davis Smart, Sarah Stonesifer, Alan Yarborough, panel conversations with the staff and parishioners (and you) from Christ Church Charlotte & others.
