Join us for an exploratory conversation about our role in renewing the language of mission. Martin Smith will give several presentations to stimulate discussion that will challenge the conventional dichotomy between spirituality and mission. His proposals for revitalizing our imagination include seeking inspiration from the theology of God’s eros, God’s yearning desire, central to early Christian spirituality, and using the theme of “living under the authority of God’s future” to make a fresh and passionate connection with Jesus’ proclamation of the onset of God’s Reign.

Saturday, May 6 9:00 AM - 3:00 PM reflection and conversation
