How Faith Communities can Collaborate With the Homeless Continuum of Care to Make Homelessness in our City Rare and Brief.
The Faith Committee of the Atlanta Homeless Continuum of Care is pleased to present an inspirational and educational opportunity to learn more about how your community of faith can align with and create impact on homelessness in Atlanta. A robust agenda is planned to include the following:
Keynote speaker, Shawn Duncan, from the Lupton Center (of Bob Lupton’s Toxic Charity) will share a vision for re-imagining faith based charity within homelessness.
Cathryn Marchman, Executive Director of Partners for Home, the Atlanta Homeless Continuum of Care, who will present the new strategic plan to make homelessness in Atlanta rare and brief.
Presentations will be followed by workshops that will provide tangible examples of how your congregation can align with the goals of the strategic plan to have the deepest impact possible on homelessness in Atlanta.
A box lunch will be included.
