Advanced Godly Play Training

St. Bartholomew's Episcopal Church
1790 LaVista Road, NE
Atlanta, GA 30329

St. Bartholomew’s Episcopal Church will host an Advanced Godly Play Training for Godly Play mentors that have three years of experience working with children and have completed Godly Play Core Training. This three-day training is designed for experienced Godly Play practitioners. The event offers participants an opportunity to go deeper with the Godly Play core stories and lessons using the process of Godly play. Presentations on implementing the full curriculum give learners a better idea of how and when to introduce enrichment and extension lessons in their own programs. Trainer-led presentations in the Advanced Training cover: A deeper understanding of the Spirituality of the Child, the Spiral Curriculum, and the Nurture of Children’s Spirituality are the goal of this training which focuses on participant case studies and discovery learning with each of the specific topics.
