Prof. Jennifer Ayres- On the faculty at the Candler School of Theology since 2011, Professor Ayres is frequent speaker on topics of faith formation, religion and food, and Christian ecological theology and practice. She is the author of two books, Waiting for the Glacier to Move: Practicing Social Witness and Good Food: Grounded Practical Theology.

Theology and Activism: Conversations on Faith, Outreach, and Advocacy  

How do our experiences in Faith inform work in the public sphere? How are outreach and advocacy experiences formative for our Faith? How do we reflect theologically on our experiences? Why does theology matter for social justice advocacy and outreach?
