A Story of Calling, Resistance, and Grace

  • 634 West Peachtree Road Northeast Atlanta, GA, 30342 United States (map)

The Rev. Connie Tuttle was the first out lesbian to finish Columbia Theological Seminary on the ordination track. For her, the track ended with a huge roadblock: a vote from the Presbyterian Church to prohibit the ordination of gays and lesbians. Join us as she shares her story of calling, resistance, and grace.

This talk will be in the chapel among the Shower of Stoles exhibition. The Rev. Connie Tuttle has a stole dedicated to her witness and ministry in the permanent collection.
